consider the following advice before signing a lease and living off-campus:

Talk to current tenants about the landlord. Ask the landlord's response time to repairs, maintenance or other issues that are of your concern.

See at least ten rental accommodations before signing a lease. There are more available places to rent than there are people to rent them, so you will not be homeless if you take your time viewing accommodations.

Be a good neighbour to others living in the off-campus community. Do this by knowing the City's by-laws pertaining to noise, parking, garbage and property standards.

Landlords

There is a $45.00 fee for each listing, and is good for the fiscal year from April 1 - March 31.

Please call to have listing removed from website when apartment is rented. If the apartment becomes available within the current fiscal year, it will be listed at no additional charge.

This is a shared service for both Canadore College and Nipissing University.
